The musical, which premiered at Mancheseter's Opera House in May 2010, prior to transferring to the West End's Piccadilly Theatre in July that year, ran through Oct. 6 this year. The Broadway incarnation, which played at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, was much shorter-lived, running March-August 2012, playing 39 previews and 136 regular performances.
Bruce Joel Rubin adapted his original screenplay (for which he won the oscar for Best Original Screenplay) for the stage production.
Directed by Matthew Warchus, it has set and costume designs by Rob Howell, musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, illusions by Paul Kieve, choreography by Ashley Wallen, video and projection designs by Jon Driscoll, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and sound by Bobby Aitken.
The U.K. tour is being produced by David Ian Productions, The Ambassador Theatre Group, Colin Ingram, and Hello Entertainment/David Garfinkle.
Full casting for the tour is yet to be announced. Full touring dates and booking information will be available on www.ghostthemusical.com.
