News   Gillett, Tolivar and Halladay Set for Premiere of Warning: Adult Content
Julie Tolivar, Eric Michael Gillett and Christopher Halladay will star in the world premiere of Warning: Adult Content, set to begin performances Feb. 19 at Theatre 54 in Manhattan.

In Warning: Adult Content, playwright Joseph Gallo (My Italy Story, Star Song) "chronicles the cost of accidental celebrity in the 21st-century," according to press notes.

Halladay, who appeared Off-Broadway in The Runner Stumbles, will co-star with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Toliver and Broadway veteran Gillett (Sweet Smell of Success, The Frogs) as well as Marnie Klar, Joseph Barbarino, John Calvin Kelly and Jennifer Laine Williams.

Warning: Adult Content is described as such: "From the anonymity of their Los Angeles home, Rick and Venus run the web's hottest on-line husband and wife porn site to help support Rick's failing artistic career. Rick, an aspiring singer, tries to conceal his involvement, but when he is revealed, guilt leads him back East to the old neighborhood karaoke bar."

Robin A. Paterson (A New Television Arrives, Finally) directs and designs set and lighting for the work, which is presented by Shetler Studios TDG in association with the Bridge Theatre Company.

The production will play a limited engagement through March 9 at Theatre 54, located within Shetler Studios (244 West 54th Street in Manhattan). An official opening has been set for Feb. 21. Tickets are available by calling (212) 352-3101. For more information visit
