News Godspell and "Glee" Star Telly Leung Will Release Debut Solo Recording in December Telly Leung, most recently seen in the acclaimed Broadway revival of Godspell, is at work on his debut solo recording for the Yellow Sound Label.

Leung, who will be seen in the world premiere of the new musical Allegiance this fall at the Old Globe in San Diego, posted on Twitter July 2, "Going to bed early, and getting ready to lay down some lead vocals tomorrow at @YellowSound! So excited for ya'll to hear the album!"

The "Glee" star previously Tweeted, "Just finished recoding the band on 8 tracks. BUSY, productive day. You are gonna love this album. The folks at @YellowSound rule!"

The recording is due in December; details are expected shortly.

Yellow Sound Label has produced solo recordings for Tony winners Alan Cumming and Chita Rivera, among others.

On Broadway Telly Leung has been seen in Godspell, Pacific Overtures, Flower Drum Song and Rent. He created the role of Boq in the Chicago production of Wicked and was also seen in the starry Hollywood Bowl staging of Rent. His other theatrical credits include M. Butterfly and Titanic. His TV credits include "Glee" and "Law & Order: CI."
