Ah, what makes you think of Much Ado About Nothing more than a fat guy cavorting in a diaper? Denver Theatre Center's production of Shakespeare's comedy (running Jan. 25-Feb. 24, 2001) will star Bill Christ, Tony Church (two names that go together?) and Greg Norton, none of whom will suit up in Pampers. We hope. As for It's a Wonderful Death, we're not sure if the "It's a Wonderful Life" people know about this, but doesn't it just scream "Merry Christmas"? It's a Wonderful Death is - naturally - a parodic holiday treat which reimagines Jimmy Stewart's George Bailey as a complete jerkface. Interesting, but what we really want is Donna Reed's Mary Hatch recast as a crack whore. A new holiday tradition, Death ran Dec. 4-20 at Los Angeles' Sacred Fools.
