Joining the previously reported Sarah Chalke will be Judy Greer, Philip Winchester, Gregory Harrison (Chicago, Steel Pier, Follies) and Maria Conchita Alonso (Kiss of the Spider Woman), according to The Hollywood Reporter. Timothy Busfield will direct the miniseries, which was written by Suzanne Martin. "Meaneater," which is based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's book, concerns "Clarissa Alpert (Chalke), a shallow thirtysomething socialite in a panic because she's still single. Setting her sights on a Hollywood producer, Clarissa puts into motion a plan to land herself a husband," according to the trade paper.
Harrison and Conchita Alonso will play Clarissa's parents with Greer as Clarissa's friend Gravy and Winchester as Aaron, Clarissa's love interest.
Executive producers are Martin and Levangie Grazer and Stephanie Davis.
