Also starring Gregory Cruz, Felicity Huffman, Rod McLachlan and Todd Weeks , under the direction of Scott Zigler, November "takes place a few days before a presidential election and incumbent Charles Smith (Begley) is in for a rough month — his campaign funds are running out, his poll numbers are 'lower than Gandhi's cholesterol' and the sofa needs to be reupholstered," according to Center Theatre Group. "But although his speechwriter (Huffman) seems to have defected, his chief of staff (McLachlan) has all but given up and his wife is planning for her post-White House life, Charles isn't ready to throw in the towel quite yet."

This is Pulitzer Prize-winning Mamet's "hilarious take on the lengths to which politicians will go to win an election." November had its world premiere on Broadway in 2008. Nathan Lane starred, with Laurie Metcalf earning a Tony nomination for playing the speechwriter, Clarice Bernstein.

November features set design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Laura Bauer, lighting design by Josh Epstein and casting by Erika Sellin. The production stage manager is Barclay Stiff.

Two Mamet plays are about to begin on Broadway — a revival of his Pulitzer Prize-winning Glengarry Glen Ross, for which he later wrote the screenplay, and his new two-hander, The Anarchist, starring Patti LuPone and Debra Winger.

November tickets and information are available at CenterTheatreGroup.org, the CTG box office located at the Ahmanson Theatre, or by calling (213) 628-2772.
