News "Hairspray" and "Sweeney Todd" Nominated for ACE Eddie Awards "Hairspray" and "Sweeney Todd" were among the feature film nominees announced by the American Cinema Editors for the upcoming 58th annual ACE Eddie Awards.

The awards from the society of film editors will be presented Feb. 17 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, according to the organization's website.

The movie musicals were among the nominated films in the Best Edited Feature Film (Comedy or Musical) category. They will vie for the award in a field that also includes "Juno" (featuring recent Cyrano star Jennifer Garner and stage vets Allison Janney and J.K. Simmons), "Pirates of the Caribbean" (also feature "Sweeney" star Johnny Depp) and the animated "Ratatouille."

The 2008 ACE Eddie Award nominees follow:
