News Harvey Fierstein and Michael Arden Will Appear on Upcoming Season of CBS' "The Good Wife" Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and Michael Arden have signed on to appear in the upcoming season of the CBS series "The Good Wife," according to TVGuide.com.

Fierstein is scheduled to appear in the fourth episode as a liberal judge with his own ideas about how to preside over one of Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) cases. Arden has signed on for a recurring role as a philosophy professor who will be a love interest of Owen (Dallas Roberts), the brother of Alicia.

"The Good Wife" stars Emmy Award winner Margulies ("ER," Festen) as a wife and mother who boldly assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail. According to CBS, "Pushing aside the betrayal and crushing public humiliation caused by her husband, Peter, Alicia Florrick starts over by pursuing her original career as a defense attorney."

Fierstein won Tony Awards for Torch Song Trilogy, La Cage aux Folles and Hairspray. He was recently seen reprising his Tony Award-winning role as Edna Turnblad in the Hollywood Bowl production of Hairspray in Los Angeles.

Arden has been seen on Broadway in Big River and The Times They Are A-Changin'. He has also appeared Off-Broadway in Bare: A Pop Opera.

"The Good Wife" will return to CBS Sept. 25 and air Sunday nights at 9 PM ET.
