News Hibma Promoted to Associate Director at Sundance Institute Theatre Christopher Hibma has been named the Sundance Institute Theatre Program's first associate director.

Over the last two years, as manager of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, Hibma "has helped move the theatre program into a new level of operations," according to a Sept. 10 announcement by the respected not-for-profit organization whose programs have given developmental resources to such award-winning works as Spring Awakening, Grey Gardens, The Light in the Piazza and I Am My Own Wife. Hibma reports to producing artistic director Philip Himberg. Previously, Hibma worked at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Theatre Latté Da and the Minnesota Boychoir.
