News High School Musical Begins Casa Mañana Run March 10 The Casa Mañana production of Disney's High School Musical, starring Jenny Gulley and Michael Kadin Craig, begins performances March 10.

Gulley (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) portrays Gabriella opposite Craig (Altar Boyz) as basketball hero Troy in the resident production directed by Alan Muraoka. High School Musical will play a limited engagement through March 15 at Bass Performance Hall in Ft. Worth, TX.

The High School Musical cast also features Cameron Wade (Sharpay Evans), Logan Hart as (Ryan Evans), Cyndi Steele-Harrod (Ms. Darbus/Ms. Tenny), Brian Mathis (Coach Bolton), Erica Dorfler (Taylor McKessie), Luke Longacre (Chad Danforth), Sarah Zeringue (Kelsi Neilson), Cori Lynne (Martha Cox), Cody Jenkins (Jack Scott) and Christopher Messina (Ripper).

The ensemble includes Chip Abbott, Deanna Aguinaga, Rhett Beggs, Charnell Bratton, Kristy Cavanaugh, Alicia Charles, Walter Lee Cunningham, Dean de Luna, Sarah Dickerson, Michelle Foard, Lili Froelich, Jenine Galante, Simone Gundy, Colin Israel, Maurice Johnson, Tim Kodres, Lonna Marie, Jeremy McQueen, Curt Mega, Ashley Smith, Samantha Sturm, Michael Sylvester, Amanda Thompson, Haydee Vanessa and Travis Waldschmidt.

Darren Lee choreographs the production with musical direction by W. Brent Sawyer and a creative team that also features Jeffery Meeks (costume designer) and Craig Stelzenmuller (lighting designer).

Based on the hit 2006 Disney film, the stage production of High School Musical has a book by David Simpatico, adapted from the original movie script by Peter Barsocchini. All the songs from the original soundtrack (written by numerous songwriters) are featured in the show along with two added songs.
