Part of the TRU New Voices Musical Reading Series, the 7 PM reading features direction by Marlo Hunter and music direction by Christopher D. Littlefield.

The cast comprises Howie Michael Smith, Justin Matthew Sargent, Anika Larsen, Jason Michael Snow, Natalie Charle Ellis, Matt Wolfe and E.J. Zimmerman.

Smith, according to press notes, plays Parker, "a shy accountant who has never told anyone that his life is a musical -- that he hears people sing when they speak. His strange 'condition' helps him make a cocky but vacuous singer-songwriter (Justin Matthew Sargent) into a national sensation ... but it backfires when the woman Parker is falling in love with (Anika Larsen) falls for the singer-songwriter instead. Soon Parker has to choose: will he keep his secret, or dare to reveal it to the love of his life?"

Oran Eldor provides orchestrations, with Brian Hamm on bass and Jay Mack on drums.

The reading will be followed by TRU’s "Dollars and Sense” Industry Panel.
