News Huber, Symons, Ball, Cahn, Stern and Ward to Star in Rubicon's She Loves Me Complete casting has been announced for the Rubicon Theatre Company's upcoming production of She Loves Me.

Kirby Ward will direct the classic Joe Masteroff (book), Jerry Bock (music) and Sheldon Harnick (lyrics) musical, which will conclude the Rubicon's 10th anniversary season. Previews will begin Sept. 4 with an official opening scheduled for Sept. 6. The limited engagement will play through Sept. 28.

Heading the cast will be Beauty and the Beast's Kim Huber and TV veteran Kevin Symons as the unknowing lovers and pen pals of a 1930s Budapest parfumerie. They will be joined onstage by George Ball, Larry Cahn, Rick Cornette, Leslie Henstock, Nathan Holland, Matthew Rocheleau, Jamison Stern and Beverly Ward.

"Set in the 1930s," She Loves Me press notes state, "the story follows two extremely competitive co-workers (Huber and Symons) in a Budapest perfumerie who, unbeknownst to themselves, become pen pals and fall in love."

She Loves Me is based on Parfumerie, the Miklos Laszlo play. Bock and Harnick are best known for writing the score to Fiddler on the Roof. Their work also includes the Pulitzer Prize-winning Fiorello! as well as The Apple Tree, Tenderloin and The Rothschilds. Masteroff wrote the book for the Kander and Ebb musical, Cabaret.

The design team features scenic designer Tom Giamario, lighting designer Christina L. Munich, costume designer Shon LeBlanc, hair and make-up Designer Spanky Reynoso and resident property Designer T Theresa Scarano with production stage manager Harold Apter.
