MusiCares will fete Grammy winner Neil Diamond for his artistic and philanthropic achievements, including his relief efforts in Texas for areas affected by Hurricane Ike.
Other performers will include Josh Brolin, Adele, Coldplay, the Foo Fighters, Tim McGraw, Raul Malo and honoree Diamond. The gala includes a silent auction, dinner, performances and the award presentation.
Previous MusiCares honorees include Tony Bennett, Bono, Natalie Cole, Phil Collins, David Crosby, Gloria Estefan, Aretha Franklin, Don Henley, Billy Joel, Elton John, Quincy Jones, Luciano Pavarotti, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Sting, James Taylor, Brian Wilson and Stevie Wonder.
