CBS' Undercover Boss premieres a spin-off of the Emmy-winning reality show May 11: Undercover Boss: Celebrity Edition. Tony winner Idina Menzel is set to go undercover in the new series, as singers, athletes, models, and business legends go incognito to find deserving Americans who have yet to be discovered and help them achieve their dreams.
Watch Menzel don a blonde wig and glasses (If/Then flashbacks, anyone?) in the trailer above. Menzel's episode will air May 18.
Also set to appear on the series are Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, blogger Bethany Mota, and NFL star Deion Sanders.
Menzel last appeared on Broadway in 2014’s aforementioned If/Then, for which she earned a Tony nomination. She previously won a Tony for her performance as Elphaba in Wicked and earned her first nomination for originating the role of Maureen in Rent. She is set to star in the world premiere of Joshua Harmon's Skintight this summer, beginning performances Off-Broadway May 31.
