PlayBlog Is Liev Schreiber Fit for Jimmy Kimmel's "Handsome Men's Club?" In the wee, post-Oscar-ceremony hours of the morning of March 8, ABC-TV’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” debuted a sketch that was immediately posted on YouTube and, as of a few hours past sunrise that morning, had already garnered over 5,000 hits.

The sketch, focusing on a certain “Handsome Men’s Club” of self-infatuated pretty boys, included many of Hollywood’s biggest names, but a few of those names have notable stage credits.

Ethan Hawke (The Coast of Utopia), who directed the current Off-Broadway revival of Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind, is seen offering the headshot of one of the club’s membership candidates up for inspection to Ted Danson, who’s looking at it over AIM video chat. That candidate is Liev Schreiber, a Tony winner for Glengarry Glen Ross who is now appearing on Broadway in A View from the Bridge.

When Kimmel’s authority as head of the club is called into question, he tries to defend himself by comparing his features with those of Taye Diggs, the heartthrob star of Rent, Wicked and Chicago.

Additional members of the club include Patrick Dempsey, Rob Lowe, John Krasinski, Lenny Kravitz, Matthew McConaughey, Sting, Josh Hartnett, Keith Urban, Tony Romo, Gilles Marini, and Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, both of whom appeared in previous TV/viral skits with Kimmel. Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Garner, makes a cameo appearance.

To see for yourself if you think Schreiber (or the “Twilight” hunks Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson) are suitable for membership in the club, watch the video below.
