News Jake Gyllenhaal Hopes to Star in Broadway Musical Jake Gyllenhaal, who was critically acclaimed for his performance in the recent New York City Center concert staging of the musical Little Shop of Horrors — opposite original stage and screen Audrey, Ellen Greene — is hoping to sing on Broadway.

Gyllenhaal, whose new film "Demolition" recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, told E! Online, "I don't know about [Little Shop] in particular...but I definitely would love to be doing a musical on Broadway in the near future."

Gyllenhaal, who made his Broadway debut last season in the two-hander Constellations, added, "I would love that. It would be a huge honor. There are a lot of really good people who do it really well so you gotta know you can do it well if you're going to do it."
