News John Bolger, Ellen McLaughlin, Marianne Owen, Eric Riedmann and More Will Be Good People at George Street Playhouse Complete casting has been announced for the George Street Playhouse's upcoming production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Good People, which will begin previews Jan. 29.

Directed by artistic director David Saint, the production will officially open Feb. 1. Performances will continue through Feb. 24. The cast will comprise John Bolger, Ellen McLaughlin, Marianne Owen, Eric Riedmann, Cynthia Lauren Tewes and Zakiya Young.

Good People is produced in association with Seattle Repertory Theatre, and will move there following its New Brunswick run.

"Caught in a cycle of lost jobs, late babysitters and last month’s rent, things aren’t great for Margie, a single mom in South Boston," according to press notes. "Desperate for a job, she tracks down her high school sweetheart Mikey, a successful doctor whose life took a luckier path. Will stories and surprises about the old neighborhood give her and her daughter the break they need?"

Creating the world of the play are scenic designer James Youmans, costume designer David Murin, sound designer/composer Scott Killian and lighting designer Charlie Morrison.
