Directed by Rachel Klein, opening is May 30 Off-Broadway.

Gregorio replaces the previously announced Leo Ash Evens, who leaves the production to continue with his role in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway show Finks, which has been extended at Ensemble Studio Theatre.

Gregorio, who will play the role of Passepartout, has appeared Off-Broadway in Silent Laughter (The Lamb’s Theatre), The Nuclear Family (The Belt) and 365 Days/365 Plays (The Public).

The cast will be led by Hair Drama Desk nominee Bryce Ryness as Phileas Fogg with Jimmy Ray Bennett (Speedy), Stephen Guarino (Fix) and Emily McNamara (Aouda). The five actors portray a total of 39 roles.

Around the World in 80 Days, according to press notes, is a "fun frolic and fantastic update of the visionary classic. To win a bet, Phileas Fogg, the Victorian action hero, and his acrobatic sidekick Passepartout must circle the globe and return to London inside of 80 days. Unknowingly pursued by a tireless detective convinced that Fogg is a robber on the run, the fast-minded, fleet-footed pair traverse four continents and three oceans in a white-knuckled sprint."
