News John Waters Discusses Hairspray, Gorshin Gracie at 92 Street Y in January The only thing better than Hairspray? That's film auteur John Waters discussing the movie and the hit musical Jan. 26 at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan.

Choreographer Jerry Mitchell, book writer Mark O'Donnell and actors Laura Bell Bundy, Jackie Hoffman and Corey Reynolds will assist Waters in the symposium, beginning at 7:30 PM.

Jan. 20, Frank Gorshin will shed the persona of George Burns to talk about his one-man Broadway show Say Goodnight, Gracie. Tony-winning writer Rupert Holmes, actress Didi Conn (whose recorded voice plays Gracie in the show) and producer William Franzblau will also discuss the process of recreating the beloved comedian's life and times. The talk begins at 8:15 PM.

The cast and creative team of Man of La Mancha will speak March 23. Who will participate has not yet been announced.
