Classic Arts News Joyce Theater Announces Summer Schedule New York's Joyce Theater will present performances by Eliot Feld's Ballet Tech, Pilobolus, and the Smuin Ballet this summer, the dance venue announced.
Also on the schedule are Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, Pascal Rioult Dance Theatre, Ballet NY, Battleworks, Paradigm, and Chunky Move.

The summer season begins on May 31 with two weeks of performances by Ballet Tech, to include appearances by Mikhail Baryshnikov and accompaniment by the ensemble So Percussion.

Other highlights include Pilobolus's 35th-anniversary season, to feature performances of the work that launched the company at Dartmouth University, also called Pilobolus. Australia's Chunky Move performs I want to Dance Better at Parties, an exploration of the awkward and conflicted feelings of men toward social dancing, and Michael Smuin's San Francisco-based ensemble closes the season with performances of works set to music by Stravinsky and Edgar Meyer and B_la Fleck.
