Rice, who appeared as Johanna in the original Broadway production of Sweeney Todd, will join that musical's original leading man for the 7 PM concert. Cariou earned a Tony for Sweeney and also originated the role of Frederik Egerman in A Little Night Music.
In addition to Rice, Murney, Burgess and Leung, Cariou will be joined by special guests including Lisa Asher, Natalie Douglas, Larry Hamilton, Joe Iconis, Trent Armand Kendall, Phyllis Pastore, Marybeth Purdy, Anne Runolfsson, Nikki Scalera, Stephen Wallem and JoAnn Yeoman.
Each concert has featured an actor who originated a role in a Sondheim musical. Previous guests included Sarah Rice (Johanna in Sweeney Todd), Danielle Ferland (Louise in Sunday in the Park…, Little Red in Into the Woods), Pamela Myers (Marta in Company) and Annie Golden (Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme in Assassins).

Sondheim Unplugged, which has played its weekly engagement at the Beechman since July 5, was originally scheduled to conclude July 26.
