News Kern, O'Bryan, Vivino, Cates and More Set for Muny Grease Shannon M. O'Bryan and Kevin Kern will play the summer-loving Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko in the upcoming production of Grease at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre.

According to a spokesperson for the Muny, the cast will also feature Donna Vivino as Rizzo, Kristine Reese as Frenchy, Kristy Cates as Marty, Jaclyn Huberman as Jan, Kasey Marino as Sonny, Dan Amboyer as Kenickie, Jason Wooten as Doody, Aaron Kaburick as Roger, Barbara Minkus as Miss Lynch, James Anthony as Vince Fontaine, Meggie Cansler as Patty and Justin Keyes as Teen Angel.

The ensemble comprises Etai BenShlomo, Nathanial Braga, Will Burton, Christina Day, Ted Ely, Samantha Eve, Eric Fogel, Joe Grandy, Kayla Hall, Lauren Holmes, Ian Joseph, Julie Kavanaugh, Jessie Kohut, Allison Mcdowell, Michael McKee, Corbin Reid, Danielle Rosario, Cary Tedder, Billy Harrigan Tighe and Jessica Waxman.

Matt Lenz will direct the family favorite musical, which will run June 25-July 3 and will feature choreography by Michele Lynch. Eddie Robinson is musical director. The creative team also includes Steve Gilliam (set designer), F. Mitchell Dana (lighting designer), Peter Hynds (production stage manager) and Lorraine LiCavoli (assistant stage manager).

Featuring a book and score by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease! features such tunes as "We Go Together," "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightning," "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee," "Beauty School Dropout" and "There Are Worse Things I Could Do." The original 1972 Broadway production featured Carole Demas as Sandy Dumbrowski and Barry Bostwick as Danny Zuko. A Broadway revival is scheduled to begin previews in July at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

The complete Muny season will feature Oklahoma! (June 18-24), Grease (June 25-July 3), Hello, Dolly! (July 9-15), Peter Pan (July 16-22), The Pajama Game (July 23-29), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (July 30-Aug. 5) and Les Misérables (Aug. 6-15).
