PlayBlog Kerry Ellis, Denise Van Outen and the West End Say, "It Gets Better" (Video) West End stars, including Denise Van Outen (Chicago, Legally Blonde) and Kerry Ellis (Wicked), have taken part in the third and final video promoting the "It Gets Better" campaign, founded by columnist Dan Savage in September 2010, in response to the outbreak of teenage suicides among the LGBT community.


The first West End video telling teenagers and young adults around the world that "It Gets Better" was released in January 2011. The second and third videos have been released and tell more personal stories of West End actors who struggled with bullying, coming out and accepting themselves.

Other West End artists and creatives featured in the video include Jamie Anderson, Julie Atherton, John Brannoch, Vivien Carter, Jordan Cluroe, Cecilia Colby, Nick Crossley, Tom Eddden, Hugo Harold Harrison, Graham Hubbard, Nicholas Hytner, Murray Lane, Stephen Mear, Ben Moir, Chris New, James Nowell, William Peaco Junior, Andrew Pepper, Verity Quade, Nigel Roche, Malcolm Sinclair (actor and President of Equity), Martin Sherman, Paul Spicer, Ruthie Stephens, Giles Terera, Robbie Towns, Russell Whitehead, Steven Webb, Stuart Winter and Danny Lee Wynter.
