Chenoweth's spokesperson released a statement July 12, explaining, "Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."

As previously reported, a piece of scaffolding, knocked loose by strong winds, struck Chenoweth, who fell to the ground, July 11. The actress, according to the New York Post, suffered a brief seizure following the accident and was later fitted with a neck brace and taken to Bellevue Hospital.

A witness told that when Chenoweth fell, she also hit her head on the pavement.

CBS released a statement, which reads: "While filming a scene for 'The Good Wife' in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth... All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery."
