LOS ANGELES -- Continuing through Feb. 1 is the musical comedy Alice and the Wonderful Tea Party, Actors Repertory Theatre's inaugural production of the 1998 Family Theatre season at the Santa Monica Playhouse.
ART, recently back from a six-city tour of Japan, will follow Alice with another musical, Cinderella, Feb. 7-April 5.
Family Theatre at Santa Monica Playhouse, now in its 28th year, continues a tradition of presenting multi-generational theatre for theatregoers "between the ages of two and 92," and is performed by members of ART in conjunction with members of the Playhouse Young Professionals Company.
Performances are Sat. and Sun. at 1 PM & 3 PM. All seats are $8. The Playhouse is at 12ll Fourth Ave., Santa Monica. For tickets, call (310) 394-9779 ext.2.
