Anctil is making his Broadway debut.
The production at the Longacre Theatre will also welcome Allyce Beasley to the cast as Mme. Renaud/Mme. Dindon Sept. 14. Beasley succeeds Veanne Cox, who will play her final performance Sept. 12.
Beasley will also be making her Broadway debut. She is best known for her role as Ms. Dipesto on ABC's "Moonlighting," for which she received two Emmy, Golden Globe and American Comedy Award nominations.
The 2010 Tony Award-winning revival of La Cage aux Folles co-stars Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer and Tony winner Douglas Hodge.
