News Lance Horne Musical Back in the Day Will Receive World Premiere at Cape Cod Rep The Cape Cod Repertory Theatre will present the world premiere of Jonathan Larson Award-winning composer Lance Horne's Back in the Day, beginning Sept. 13.

With music and lyrics by Horne and a book by Kate Rigg, Back in the Day, according to press materials, is "a musical examination of how much we have learned and how little we might change after graduation… On the night of a high school class reunion, alumni look back to the big questions they asked years ago and those about to graduate look forward to getting all the answers."

Featured in the cast are Trish LaRose (Urban Cowboy), Kate Pazakis (Newsical, The Sexless Years), Ethan Paulini (Oliver!, The Sexless Years), Matthew Morris, Aaron Libby and Justyn Eldredge.

Lance Horne provided vocal arrangements for Little Women on Broadway. Horne has penned songs for Gypsy of the Year, the Actors' Fund benefits and contributed to the Off-Broadway song-cycle Songs From an Unmade Bed. His work has been presented at Joe's Pub, New York Theatre Workshop, The Juilliard School and Lincoln Center. Horne is a graduate of the Juilliard School.
