John Logan's Never the Sinner, the lauded regional and Off-Broadway play about the notorious Leopold and Loeb murder trial, concludes its current Long Island mounting at the Broadhollow Theater, May 16. L.I. directing veteran and high school acting teacher Macey Levin stages this look at two closeted sociopaths and the world famous lawyer (Clarence Darrow) who convinces a jury to spare the chair. The production might be especially relevant in the light of this week's Colorado shootings, committed by a couple of disaffected teens in a suburban setting.
Other plays by Logan include Hayptmann and Speaking in Tongues.
