News Laura Benanti Offers Solo Concert at Landmark On Main Street Oct. 22 Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti, last seen on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and on TV in NBC's "Playboy Club," takes center stage in a solo evening of song Oct. 22 at Landmark on Main Street.

Benanti's 8 PM concert is presented as part of the Landmark's Main Stage Cabaret Series at the Jeanne Rimsky Theater in Port Washington, NY.

Mary Mitchell Campbell serves as musical director for the evening that highlights Benanti's stage career.

Benanti earned a Tony Award for the 2008 revival of Gypsy, in which she co-starred with Patti LuPone. She earned a 2011 Tony Award nomination for Women on the Verge… and was most recently seen in the role of Carole-Ann on the short-lived NBC series "Playboy Club."

Her numerous stage appearances also include In the Next Room..., Nine, Into the Woods, The Sound of Music, Why Torture Is Wrong and the People Who Love Them, and her Tony-nominated performance in Swing!

The concert series also includes Darlene Love (Dec. 10); Tony winner Stew, Heidi Rodewald and the Negro Problem (Jan. 21, 2012); Justin Guarini (March 2, 2012); Christine Ebersole (May 12, 2012); and Ann Hampton Callaway and Liz Callaway (June 16, 2012).
