News Legally Blonde Writer Heather Hach's "My Parents Are Too F**king Happy" in Development for NBC "My Parents Are Too F**king Happy," a new comedy by Tony Award-nominated Legally Blonde book writer Heather Hach, has been picked up for development by NBC and Silent Machine Entertainment, according to Deadline.com.

Hach, who also penned the screenplay for the 2003 remake of "Freaky Friday" and "What to Expect When You're Expecting," authored the new single-camera comedy that centers on three siblings who are left emotionally traumatized by their parents' perfect marriage.

Krysten Ritter ("Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, " All New People) runs Silent Machine Entertainment along with Lindsey Liberatore.

Hach earned a Tony Award nomination for the book to Legally Blonde. She received an Olivier Award for her work when the musical made its London premiere and took the 2011 Olivier for Best New Musical.
