What if Liza Minnelli had kept Sondheim on Sondheim open by replacing Barbara Cook? After all, Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch did it with A Little Night Music, right?

Special, never-before-seen documentary footage of Minnelli rehearsing for the show, in her old stomping ground of Studio 54, has recently been released, courtesy of Sondheim on Sondheim star Leslie Kritzer (who plays Liza here).  Her fellow cast mates Erin Mackey and Euan Morton also appear, as does the show's musical director, Andy Einhorn, and the theatre security guard, Ralph Mohan.
