Disappointing news for Hamilton fans in Minnesota’s Twin Cities: Tony Award winner Leslie Odom, Jr.’s concert with the Minnesota Orchestra that was scheduled for November 18 has been canceled. The orchestra cited a scheduling conflict as the reason for the last-minute cancellation.
The concert with Odom has been rescheduled to March 24, 2018.
Odom won the 2016 Tony Award as Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his performance as Aaron Burr.
Ticketholders will be notified directly by the Minnesota Orchestra ticket services department and will be automatically issued new tickets for the rescheduled March date.
“We know this is disappointing news for Leslie Odom, Jr. fans who were anticipating Saturday’s concert, and Mr. Odom apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this rescheduling may cause,” said Grant Meachum, director of Live at Orchestra Hall. “We are pleased we were able to find a new date so quickly. We look forward to welcoming Leslie Odom, Jr. to Minneapolis in March, and he looks forward to seeing his fans at the show then.”
