Uggams will offer her new show, Leslie Uggams: Uptown Downtown, through April 17. The acclaimed singing actress will be backed by a five-member band led by music director Don Rebic on piano: Aaron Heick (woodwinds), Steve Bargonetti (guitar), Ray Kidlay (bass) and Buddy Williams (drums). Cabaretgoers can expect to hear Uggams' renditions of “My Own Morning,” “Summertime,” “If He Walked Into My Life” and “Stormy Weather,” among others.

Show times will be Tuesday-Saturday at 8:45 PM with an additional late show Saturday at 10:45 PM. There is a music charge of $75 (Tuesday-Friday), $85 (Saturday) and $45 at the bar for all performances.

Uggams was most recently seen on Broadway opposite James Earl Jones in the Broadway revival of On Golden Pond. She won her Tony Award for her Broadway debut in Hallelujah, Baby!, and has also appeared on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, King Hedley II, Anything Goes, Jerry's Girls, Blues in the Night and Her First Roman. Uggams earned an Emmy for her work on television's "Fantasy" and appeared as Kizzy Reynolds in the award-winning miniseries "Roots."
