The episode, according to press notes, "follows the star from rehearsal to opening night, learning celebrity impressions from Christine Pedi, memorizing new numbers as quickly as writer Rick Crom can turn them out, and rehearsing non-stop with director Mark Waldrop and producer Tom D’Angora."
The "Life With La Toya" episode, featuring her time in NEWSical, will premiere June 28 at 10 PM ET on OWN Network; check local listings.
NEWSical the Musical's other celebrity guest stars include Perez Hilton, Cheri Oteri, Kandi Burruss, Emmy winner Jackee, Carson Kressley and Broadway’s Andrea McArdle.
The cast currently features Wade Dooley, Susan Mosher, Christine Pedi, Michael West with Kristen Mengelkoch and Dylan Thompson as swings.
