Piazza, based on Elizabeth Spencer's novella, has played critically acclaimed runs at both Seattle's Intiman Theatre and, more recently, at Chicago's Goodman Theatre.

Dessa, based on a novel called 'Dessa Rose,” is set over the course of the 1800s and concerns two historical women: A runaway slave and a woman who helps her to freedom. La Chanze will star.
