Tony Award winner Lavin (The Lyons, Collected Stories), will play Dottie in James Lecesne's Mother of Invention, directed by Michael Wilson; while Sciorra (Motherf*cker with a Hat), will play Mary in Downtown Race Riot by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, directed by Scott Elliot.
Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's musical Bright Star, directed by Walter Bobbie, will feature Bogardus (Falsettos) as Daddy Cane, Winningham (Tribes, Picnic) as Mama Murphy, Esper (American Idiot, The Lyons) as Jimmy Ray, Cory Michael Smith (Breakfast at Tiffany's, C*ck) as Billy, Phoebe Strole (Spring Awakening) as Dora/Lucy, Skipp Sudduth (South Pacific) as Mayor Dobbs and Carmen Cusack (Wicked, South Pacific, Carrie) as Alice.
The season will also include a reading of a new play by Spring Awakening Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr., titled Slàinte. Other readings include Nice Girl by Melissa Ross, Swimmers by Rachel Bonds and Idyllwild by Patrick Burleigh.
