Wild Women, Divas and Broads," featuring talented ladies of theatre, cabaret and opera, has booked into downtown Manhattan's Joe's Pub this May. Among the women to be featured are Daphne Rubin-Vega, Liz Callaway, Idina Menzel and Tonya Pinkins. The series will continue May 11 with Liz Callaway, whose credits include Cats and Miss Saigon. She will present the show "Totally 60s!" on May 11. The repertoire, from her new CD "The Beat Goes On," is drawn exclusively from the pop world of the 1960s. Callaway recently appeared at Joe's Pub as part of composer William Finn's "Infinite Joy" show.
Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street (between East 4th Street and Astor Place). For information on these and other winter attractions, call (212) 239-6200.
