Presented as part of the Southbank Centre's The Rest Is Noise Festival, which includes a Berlin in the '20s and '30s weekend, Minnelli returns to the Royal Festival Hall for the first time in nearly four decades.
The 7:30 PM concert promises music from Cabaret and a collection of Minnelli's signature material.
"I'm always so excited to perform in London. I have so many friends and fans there I consider it my second home," Minnelli said in a previous statement. "And to be returning to the Royal Festival Hall after all this time is thrilling; I remember bringing Liza with a Z there in the early 70s and having such a swell time. So I can't wait to see all you guys again!"
Bob Fosse's film of Cabaret will be screened as part of the weekend on March 3.
Minnelli earned Tony Awards for her performances in The Rink, Flora, the Red Menace, The Act, Liza's at the Palace, as well as a special 1974 Tony. She also presented a tribute to her late father Minnelli on Minnelli at the Palace and has appeared in the films "The Sterile Cuckoo," "Arthur," "New York, New York" and "Stepping Out." The singer is also a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actress.
