News London Chicago Announces Cast Changes as Tenth Anniversary Approaches The latest cast announcement for the London production of Chicago at the West End's Cambridge Theatre sees the reunion of Amra-Faye Wright, Frances Ruffelle, Terence Maynard and Paul Rider in the roles of Velma Kelly, Roxie Hart, Billy Flynn and Amos Hart, respectively.

The cast change, which also includes Sue Kelvin returning to the show as Mama Morton, will take place Nov. 5, just two weeks before the production's tenth anniversary on Nov. 18.

The hit production, which opened at the Adelphi Theatre on Nov. 18, 1997, and starred Ruthie Henshall and Ute Lemper as Roxie and Velma, and Henry Goodman (currently playing Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof) as Billy Flynn, moved to the Cambridge Theatre in April 2006.

Chicago currently stars Josefina Gabrielle, Annette McLaughlin, Clive Rowe and Kelly Osbourne as Mama Morton.

It was at the Cambridge Theatre that the first production of Chicago opened on April 10, 1979, running for 603 performances.

The John Kander (music) and Fred Ebb (lyrics) musical premiered on Broadway in 1975 and features the songs "All That Jazz," "Mister Cellophane" and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. For more information Chicago, which is booking until Oct. 6, call (0)870 890 1102.
