Comprising Portria Emare, Emma Lindars and Charlotte Riby, the group formed in 2010 and have performed internationally and throughout the U.K. at venues from the Kensington Roof Gardens to the Hard Rock Cafe and the London Palladium.
According to press materials, they will perform soul, disco, pop and theatrical music, including highlights from the musical Dreamgirls, classic anthems like "Proud Mary" and "Chain of Fools," plus songs by Whitney Houston.
They will be accompanied by Sean Green on piano, and joined by West End guests Oliver Tompsett, Rachael Wooding and Sharon D. Clarke.
The IDolls: Live at The Hippodrome is produced by Paul Spicer and Matt Firth for The List Agency. The engagement marks Spicer's return to theatrical producing since recently parting ways with Speckulation Entertainment, the West End production company he co-founded in 2008.
