The event will honor Margaret Preston, managing director and regional executive, U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. The award is given in "recognition of, and gratitude for, the U.S. Trust’s commitment to the development of a vibrant professional regional theatre in the heart of downtown White Plains." The evening will begin with a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception and silent auction followed by the award ceremony and a gala musical performance hosted by Tony Award winner LaChanze. Joining LaChanze will be Broadway performers Carter Calvert (It Ain’t Nothin’ but the Blues), Darius de Haas (Rent), Kecia Lewis-Evans (The Drowsy Chaperone), Cady Huffman (Tony Award winner, The Producers) and J. Robert Spencer (Tony Award nominee, Next to Normal) as well as jazz vocalist, Gregory Generet.
Gala tickets are available at two levels: regular tickets are $125; premium tickets are $250 and include preferred seating and a post-performance party at Blue, an upscale restaurant a short walk from the Theatre. All tickets are available at the box office or by calling (914) 328-1600.
