The cast of the tour, which will play 23 venues through Dec. 1, will be headed by Marti Webb, who succeeded Elaine Paige in the original London run of Evita and was the first to record Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black's song cycle "Tell Me on a Sunday." Webb will play Dorothy Brock with Dave Willetts (Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Cats, Ragtime, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers) as Julian Marsh.

Webb chatted about her career in this Diva Talk interview while she was starring in the London production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

The upcoming tour will feature sets and costumes from the Broadway revival.

Produced by Martin Dodd for UK Productions, 42nd Street has music and lyrics by Harry Warren and Al Dubin and book by Michael Stewart and Bramble.
