Evans, a U.K. actor whose credits include Ghost, Wicked and Oklahoma!, and sketch comedy performer O'Neill, step into the leading roles that were first played on tour by Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner. Creel and Gertner will open the London production of Book of Mormon, which will begin Feb. 25 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

The first national tour currently plays Portland, OR, through Jan. 6. A second Chicago company, which premiered in December, has recently extended its run through Sept. 8. Tickets were initially on sale through June.

All three productions of Book of Mormon recently broke box-office records for the week ending Dec. 30.

"South Park" creators-writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Tony-winning Avenue Q songwriter Robert Lopez collaborated on the script and score to the musical, which earned Tony Awards for Best Book, Best Score and Best Musical.

Co-directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw, The Book of Mormon opened to critical acclaim March 24, 2011, at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. Both earned Tony Awards for their work and repeat their duties for the tour.
