Seth Barrish directs the work which began previews March 28 and runs through May 30. The Tricky Part humorously and candidly delves into the life of its star and his personal journey. The work deals with the consequences of a 12-year-old altar boy's introduction to sex.

The work was developed at Utah's Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, Connecticut's Long Wharf Theatre and New Jersey's McCarter Theatre. The initial workshop took place at The Barrow Group.

Martin has appeared on Broadway in the revival of Bells Are Ringing, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed In Business..., Big River and Oliver! Other credits include A Man of No Importance, The Cider House Rules, Doonesbury, Floyd Collins and The Making of Americans.

The Tricky Part performs at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, located at 2162 Broadway (at 76th Street).
