The news was first reported in the Hartford Courant. McGowan — seen at Goodspeed in Big River and on Broadway in the revival of Les Miserables — had been playing Lady Anne in the Connecticut revival of the musical about King Arthur's legendary realm. Davie was featured in Broadway's Grey Gardens and Curtains, and in Off-Broadway's The Glorious Ones.

Camelot continues at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT, through Sept. 19.
