The one-night-only event — Jan. 30 — at City Center in midtown Manhattan will benefit the not-for-profit Public, a downtown institution for 50 years. The concert will offer songs from Hair; A Chorus Line; Runaways; Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk; Caroline, or Change; and many others.
Also expected to appear, according to a Jan. 13 press release, are Zach Braff, Betty Buckley, Lea DeLaria, Savion Glover, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Donna McKechnie, National Dance Institute, Natalie Portman, Billy Porter, Ben Stiller, Mary Testa, Lillias White and Jeffrey Wright, among others.
