Mercedes Ruehl and Derek Smith will star in a reading of Manhattan Casanova, a new play by Jenny Lyn Bader, Nov. 6. Elyse Singer directs. The event will take place at 8 PM at The Neighborhood Playhouse at 340 E. 54th Street. A donation of $10 is suggested. Ruehl won a Tony for her performance in Lost in Yonkers. Smith was recently seen on Broadway in The Green Bird, repeating a role for which he won an Obie Award. Co-starring are Carolyn Baeumler, Marissa Copeland, Cynthia Darlow and Melinda Wade.
