The Oct. 3 concert, which is titled A Life in Song: Lyrics by Don Black, will begin at 7:30 PM London time.
Michael Grade will host the evening, which will feature the BBC Concert Orchestra. Lyricist Black will also take to the stage to chat with host Grade about his award-winning career.
Others scheduled to be part of the tribute, which will be recorded for a future BBC broadcast, include Michael Ball, Marti Webb, Only Men Aloud, Mary-Jess Leaverland and Richard Stilgoe.
Black's credits include The Little Prince and the Aviator, Merlin, Song and Dance, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Dance of the Vampires, Bombay Dreams, Dracula the Musical and Bonnie and Clyde.
