Milwaukee Chamber Theatre co-founders Montgomery Davis and Ruth Schudson will shuffle cards on stage for the company's revival of The Gin Game, Feb. 19-March 5.

Paul Boesing is also featured in the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by D.L. Coburn, about a senior couple finding common ground in a retirement home.

The Broadway staging in 1977 starred Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. Subsequent plays and screenplays by Coburn never matched the success of The Gin Game, which was revived on Broadway and on tour in 1998 99 with Julie Harris and Charles Durning.

Davis himself with direct and play Weller, who shares hands of gin with Fonsia, played by Schudson. Davis staged the Chamber Theatre's first production, Don Juan in Hell, 25 years ago. Several years later, the troupe incorporated. This is the 20th season for the company.

Designers are Adam Stockhausen (scenic designer), Dawna Gregory (costume) and Chester Loeffler-Bell (lighting). Tickets are $13.50-$30. MCT performs in the Cabot Theatre of the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway. Call (414) 276-8842 for information.
