Regional actresses Sylvia Carter and Audrey Morgan will play the Delany sisters in Meadow Brook Theatre's Having Our Say, the Delany Sisters' First 100 Years, Jan. 6-31, 1999, in suburban Detroit.

Previews begin Jan. 6, with an opening of Jan. 9.

Emily Mann's stage version of the century-old Sarah L. and A. Elizabeth Delany sisters' autobiography will be directed by Meadow Brook associate director Debra L. Wicks, who directed The Miracle Worker there in October. Carer and Morgan previously played the roles at the New American Theatre in Rockford, IL.

According to the Theatre Communications Group, Having Our Say is one of the 10 most-produced scripts in its membership (there will be eight professional resident stagings of the 1995 script around the country in 1998-99).

Designers are Russell M. Schramm (sets), Reid G. Johnson (lighting) and Barbara Jenks (costumes). The 585-seat Meadow Brook in Rochester, MI, is the state's largest nonprofit professional theatre and the only LORT house.
